[[!meta title="Starship Factory: Diversity Working Group"]]

<div class="alert alert-info">This page is intentionally written in English. Please keep it that way! That said, please contribute!</div>

Starship Factory takes great pride in being a creative space. However,
creativity is greatly hindered by lack of diversity. The reasons for that are
simple:

* People from different backgrounds have had different experiences in their
  lives.
* These different experiences encourage different ways of thinking and create
  different needs.
* If you limit the group of people contributing to your idea and its
development, you limit the different perspectives and requirements going
into your project, and your product will be worse.

For these reasons, and just because it is the right thing, we want Starship
Factory to be the creative space for *everybody* in Basel and the surrounding
region.
